Hi, I'm Toni, and I've been passionate about quilting for over 30 years, with more than 20 years of experience as a teacher. My journey in the quilt industry began in 2007, and while I love all aspects of quilting, teaching has always been my favorite part—especially when I see my students' lightbulb moments.
My personal quilting style leans toward modern, with an emphasis on geometric and non-traditional patterns that I’ve started designing myself. I enjoy English paper piecing, foundation paper piecing, and creating smaller projects, like handmade gifts.
A huge fan of Tula Pink fabrics, most of my projects showcase her bold designs (though I’m a purple lover, not a fan of pink!). Being left-handed, I’ve mastered the art of cutting with my right hand for teaching purposes, particularly in my Quilting 101 classes.
When the pandemic forced me to close my shop, I embraced virtual teaching, and it's been a game changer in reaching quilters far and wide. Today, I work at a local quilt shop, staying immersed in the latest trends while continuing to connect with the quilting community.
