I am a seasoned crafter with a deep-rooted love for all things DIY, I've been sewing patchwork and quilting for nearly 20 years with a passion for hand stitching, quilting and a LOVE of appliqué. With years of experience,I have become an authority in hand sewing and patchwork with my keen eye for detail and an innovative approach to creating. My mission is to inspire and empower fellow makers (ie you!) with unique patterns and tips that bring your patchwork to life. I want to introduce crafters and quilters, like yourself, to the glimmers and joy that hand-sewing patchwork by hand provides. Welcome to the world of hand-piecing English Paper Pieces... minus the papers!

In Hey Hexy - Paper Free EPP I will teach you how to handpiece hexagon shapes without using papers, introducing you to the magic that is hand-stamping to sew together hexagons by hand.

You will learn:

How-to stamp fabric - yes hand stamping fabric, seams and cutting edges re stamped onto fabric, then cut and sew!
Thread and needle choices - the right tools can make all of the difference, especially when it comes to hand sewing
Hand sewing how-to, including hand piecing hexagons by hand, minus papers. Yes, you can sew any EPP pattern by hand minus papers, in this class we'll cover how to sew hexagons by hand without papers.
Fussy cutting fabrics - there are so many opportunities to create your own patterns when utilising fussy cutting and your hexagon flowers will shine!

No sewing machines will be required for this class. We will learn about hand piecing hexagons, fussy cutting, choosing fabrics and laying out our hexies, stamping hexies and sewing hexagons together by hand without papers!
