Hi! I'm Carolina Moore, and I'm an award winning quilter, pattern designer, author, teacher, and notion inventor living in San Diego, California. I combine my business background with my 30+ years of quilting experience to design and manufacture innovative notions to make quilting easier, faster, and more fun! You may be familiar with some of my tools, which include the Spot on Dot, Boxed Bag Template, Diamond Strip Ruler, Foundation Piecing Water Pen, and the Carolina Moore Glow Ruler.
My favorite thing to do is to share my love of sewing and quilting with others, and I often do this through my YouTube Channel, where I share tutorials, tips and tricks, and my favorite new notions.
I also work with some incredible sewing and quilting brands. I'm the Art Gallery Fabrics "Sewlebrity," a Baby Lock Ambassador, and Accuquilt Die Designer!
My Workshop
When we first learn to quilt, we're taught with strips, squares, and triangles. For some quilters, that's where we stay because we've been told that other shapes are "hard." But what if that was all a ruse? What if you could make complicated-looking quilts with DIAMOND shapes... and they were actually easy? It turns out that you can!
Carolina Moore has taken diamond quilts and made them easy to sew using strips! She'll show you how the ruler you already own can help you achieve this technique, and she'll show you her Diamond Strip Ruler which makes it even easier. Sew together the right size strips, cut them apart, and then sew them back together to make quilts that will amaze your quilty friends! You'll wish you learned it sooner!
And the next time someone tells you that a technique is "hard," you'll know not to believe them!
